The National Employment Office reminds the users of its services that with the abolition of the state of emergency on May 6, 2020, and starting from May 7, 2020, the special regime for calculating deadlines in administrative procedures ceased to be valid. In view of the above, we inform you of the following:
Persons whose employment was terminated during the state of emergency may submit a request for financial compensation within 30 days, starting from May 7, 2020.
The deadlines for submitting requests for financial compensation, which began to run before the introduction of the state of emergency on March 15, 2020, were interrupted and did not run during the state of emergency. The remaining parts of these deadlines continue to be calculated as of May 7, 2020.
All deadlines for decision-making by the National Employment Office, which expired during the state of emergency, are extended by 30 days, starting from May 7, 2020.
Work permits for foreigners whose validity expired during the state of emergency continued to be valid until the state of emergency ended. The deadline for submitting requests for their extension is 30 days, starting from May 7, 2020.
