Medvedja – His Grace the Bishop of Nis Arsenije, accompanied by second-degree servants of the Vladimir Markovic Priesthood, the Secretary of the Religious Charity Tutelage (RCT) of the Belgrade-Karlovac Archbiocese, Protopresbyter Dalibor Stefanović, the Governor Bishop of Jablanica district, Priest Boban Vukovic, the Parson of Medvedja and pPiest Dragan Ilic, the Parson of Sijarinska Spa, visited the municipality of Medvedja.

The aim of the visit was the continuation of providing aid to families with many children in the municipality of Medvedja, which started a few months ago. With the blessing of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, the RCT Belgrade provided valuable humanitarian aid, in the form of food, clothing, hygiene items and school supplies.

The Bishop of Nis, along with his entourage, firstly visited the elementary school "Vladimir Kovacevic" in the village of Lece and on that occasion delivered school supplies to the students. Upon visiting the school, the Bishop visited the nine-member Lepovic family, to whom he presented the valuable aid.

Upon visiting the village of Lece, the delegation headed to the village of Gazdare, where they made a tour of the works on the church of St. Panteleimon and handed the aid to the eight-member Milanovic family.

The aid was delivered to the nine-member Neskovic family, the ten-member Andrejevic family, the four-member Ristic family, the six-member Milenkovic family and the eleven-member Milic family from Medvedja. Bishop Arsenije, thereupon, visited Zoran Dimitrijevic’s family with five children from the village of Macedonce, while special attention was paid to the family of Milena Perovic, who is a single mother of six children.
