The surrounding cafes are closed and the square is almost deserted. There are no children whose parents take photos of them standing next to Santa Claus, nor the atmosphere that is usual for the end of December.
Apparently, the upcoming New Year's Eve will be like any other day of this gloomy autumn.
The only thing that the residents of Bujanovac want their Santa Claus to do for them is to take the 2020 pandemic year far from there by his carriage, and to make the coming year at least a little happier.
