The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, in cooperation with the Institute for the Advancement of Education and the Institute for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education and Training, released a new Digital Competences Framework – Digital Age Teacher 2019.
The new framework was adopted in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of Education in Serbia until 2020, which recognizes the importance and role of digital technologies for improving the education system, as well as the announcement by the European Commission ("School Development and Excellence in Teaching for Better Life in 2017"), which emphasizes the need to develop new ways of teaching and learning in an increasingly mobile and digital world.
The new Digital Competences Framework is a revision of the 2017 Framework.
