The Western Balkans Fund (WBF) issued a third regional call for projects aimed at promoting co-operation and sharing values among communities, civil society and citizens in the region.

The competition is open to civil society organizations (CSOs) and other non-profit organizations, while the deadline for applications is December 10, 2019. 

The priority areas to be supported are:

1. Cooperation in the field of culture;

2. Education and exchange in the field of science;  

3. Sustainable development.

The total budget of the third call is 250,000 euros.

The maximum amount per project is 12,000 euros, of which the WBF’s share cannot exceed 80 percent of the total project cost.

 The invitation is open to legal entities, non-profit organizations, NGOs, business associations (agricultural associations, chambers of commerce, tourist organizations), educational institutions (universities, faculties, schools, institutes, research centers, academies of science), local self-governmental institutions, as well as institutions in the field of culture and sports (museums, art galleries, theaters, libraries, associations of cultural institutions, sports associations).

An applicant can submit only one project as a promoter and one as a partner.

The planned duration of the project cannot exceed 12 months from the moment of signing the contract.

The competition involves project partnerships or a joint proposal of at least three partners (project runner and two partners). Partners must be from at least three WBF participating countries.
