Bujanovac, Vranje – According to Vranje Press, the National Employment Office (NEO) said that it would organize training courses that would provide the unemployed with "the skills and knowledge necessary for working in the information technology (IT) sector.”
“The points at issue are the programs for java programming, developing web applications, PHP and .Net programming. These are just some of the programs that we have provided for our customers in order to help them get employed," said the employees of the National Employment Branch Office in Vranje.
They also said that it was well known that the future belonged to the IT sector and that IT specialists had the most job opportunities on the labor market in Serbia, as well as all over the world.
The National Employment Office brought its training programs into line with the needs of the labor market. The plan is to carry out specialized IT training courses in ten cities throughout Serbia, in which, in the first training cycle, which begins in September, 775 course beneficiaries will be included. Those interested in the training course will be able to sign up for it on the site www.itobuke.rs from July 9 to 22.
The requirements are that the candidates are registered as unemployed with the National Employment Office, that they have completed at least a four-year secondary school, that they are talented for IT programming, that they are computer literate and that they have the knowledge of English at least at the A2 level.
The unemployed may contact their employment counselors for more information or they may follow the www.nsz.gov.rs site, where they will be regularly informed about the program.
