Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja – The National Employment Office issued a public call for subsidies for self-employment of the unemployed from the category of hard to employ persons at the newly created working places, as well as the one for the salaries of people with disabilities without work experience in 2017.
The amount of subsidies for self-employment, which are one-off payments, is 180,000 dinars, 200,000 dinars in the case of self-employment of surplus employees, and 220,000 dinars for unemployed persons with disabilities.
The deadline for submitting the requests for self-employment, along with the business plans, is April 10. The public call for granting subsidies to employers for hiring unemployed persons from the category of hard to employ people at the newly created working places, as stated in the text of the call, is open until the day the funds are spent, but not later than November 30, 2017, while the amount of subsidies ranges from 150,000 to 300,000 dinars.
The NEO also issued the public calls for organizing public works, for which the unemployed persons would be hired, for unemployed persons with disabilities and for the reimbursement of costs to people with disabilities who are employed under special conditions in the course of the year. Also issued were the public calls for implementing the program of professional practice, gaining practical knowledge by unqualified persons and for acquiring practical knowledge by redundancies and long-term unemployed persons who have been registered as unemployed for over 18 months.
