NATIONAL BANK OF SERBIA SETS UP A REGISTER OF START-UP COMPANIES OPERATING IN SERBIA

In the previous period, the National Bank of Serbia implemented significant normative reforms and undertook numerous activities to provide economic entities with conditions for easier and simpler business operations in the Republic of Serbia.

In the previous period, the National Bank of Serbia implemented significant normative reforms and undertook numerous activities to provide economic entities with conditions for easier and simpler business operations in the Republic of Serbia.

In this regard, all start-up companies established in the Republic of Serbia and /or operating in the Republic of Serbia, regardless of their field of activity, are invited to contact the National Bank of Serbia, so that a register of start-up companies could be set up.

The register of startup companies would enable one to gather information on the startup ecosystem in the Republic of Serbia in one place, and all interested parties would receive information on the companies operating in a certain area in a quick and easy way – with a single click.

Interested companies may submit the necessary information to the National Bank of Serbia’s  e-mail address: platni.sistem@nbs.rs .

The name of the company, the year and place of establishment, the field of business, the number of employees, the markets where the company is present and contact information should be included in the e-mail. The invitation applies to all start-ups, from all branches of industry.  

Based on a detailed analysis of the data collected on start-up companies, the National Bank of Serbia will be able to formulate even more effectively the proposals for measures for providing a more favorable business climate for legal entities and entrepreneurs.
