Presevo – The budget of the municipality of Presevo ​ for next year won’t be focused solely on building the infrastructure, but also on human resources and training of the personnel, because it is the only way to develop the municipality and to create the conditions for economic prosperity, "said Gazmend Seljmani, the Head of the Mayor of Presevo’s Office.  

Mr. Seljmani said that the redistribution of municipal funds was supported by the participants in the public debate on municipal budget for 2017, which was organized last week with all the direct beneficiaries of the budget, as well as with the citizens of the municipality of Presevo. 

"A public discussion before the adoption of the budget for the following year was held in the municipality of Presevo for the first time in the history of the municipality. It was organized with the intention of showing that the budget is a guideline for how we want to develop our society in the future, "Mr. Seljmani said.

Mr. Seljmani said that the debate on the budget for 2017 was attended by representatives of schools, public institutions and companies, representatives of local communities, local entrepreneurs and farmers, as well as by all the citizens interested in giving their proposals.

According to him, the goal of the local administration in Presevo is the completion of the industrial zone in the city, which is a precondition for attracting domestic and foreign investors.

“We already have potential investors who are interested in investing in Presevo, and that’s why we want to finish the industrial zone as soon as possible. I expect that all works will be completed by April or May next year, "Mr.Seljmani said.
