Bujanovac – The local communities of Bujanovac and Veliki Trnovac will no longer be the only ones from which the Bujanovac Public Company "Komunalac" removes garbage and waste, since the removal of  garbage would soon be extended to include other local communities, too.

The intention of the local self-government is to provide the necessary conditions for garbage removal, at least from those settlements that are closer to Bujanovac.

“We have already bought 198 rubbish bins for "Komunalac”, which will be distributed in local communities and with which contracts on the performance of these utilities will be signed. For that purpose, the municipality has recently bought a new truck, the capacity of which is seven cubic meters and for the purchase of which eight million dinars had been earmarked. We expect that we would thus reduce the number of illegal landfills in the municipality, "Mayor Kamberi said.

By the decision on the 2017 budget, the local self-government planned to purchase a specialized vehicle with brushes for cleaning the streets of Bujanovac. Five million dinars were planned for its purchase.
