Bujanovac – The security situation in the first six months of this year in the territory of the municipality of Bujanovac is satisfactory, it was stated at the yesterday's meeting of the Council for Security and Crime Prevention of the municipality of Bujanovac.
Such an assessment was preceded by a report of Goran Savic, the Commander of the Bujanovac Police Station (PS), who said that "the state of public peace and order was good."
On that occasion, he recalled that the number of offenses in the first half of the year decreased by 20 percent in relation to 2016.
He informed the council members that the Bujanovac Police Station had dealt with three serious crimes in the area of Bujanovac, which are the following: a murder, an attempted murder and a serious assault.
The Municipal Council for Security and Crime Prevention unanimously adopted the proposal of Miodrag Milkovic to send a request to the local Parliament to set up video surveillance in Bujanovac.
