Zoran Stankovic, President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, met with representatives of the firms had received grants from the Coordination Body in 2013.

Representatives of ten companies from the municipality of Bujanovac and eight from the municipality of Presevo, who had received from the Coordination Body millions in grants  to expand their business operations and hire new people, met recently at the Cultural Center in  Bujanovac with Zoran Stankovic, President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.  

Mr. Stankovic firstly presented the project to the participants of the meeting, and then talked to them about the progress they had accomplished in their work by means of the received grants.  

“We spoke with those who had received grants from the Coordinating Body. The Coordination Body has set aside 26 million dinars for ten companies in Bujanovac, as well as 21 million dinars for eight companies in Presevo. These companies used the funds to hire people and purchase the equipment, and some of them have already started working, "said Mr. Stankovic.

Mr. Stankovic also said it was important that "the relevant ministries control the donated funds. Every three months, the appropriate committees visit the companies in order to control the manner of using the funds, as well as whether new people are employed and new equipment  purchased. Then the Commission prepares a report, and if the funds weren’t spent properly, they will request from the companies to return the, look for them, "said Mr. Stankovic.

Two companies from Bujanovac and Presevo, which had received the resources from the Coordination Body,  say that they have been used for the recruitment of three young men in each of the companies.

The company belonging to Hajrus Sefedini from Bujanovac, which manufactures upholstered furniture, acquired new equipment and hired three young in this manner.

The company "Euro Plast" from Presevo, which produces plastics, thermo-foil and plastic bags, had received 3 million dinars, which it used to hire three young persons.  

Representatives of the Coordination Body also signed contracts with four companies from the municipality of Medvedja, in the amount of 12 million dinars, for the purpose of reducing unemployment and improving economic development in South Serbia.
