Medvedja – Deputy Mayor of Medvedja, Goran Ivanovic, who also led the Emergency   Management Staff, said that 600 humanitarian packages and 100 bags of flour had been handed out in the area of the municipality of Medvedja, which had been financed from the local budget. 

"The municipality of Medvedja firstly distributed 500 packages to pensioners and the socially disadvantaged, while the Municipal Council of the municipality of Medvedja allocated 900,000 dinars for their purchase," Mr. Ivanovic said.  

“Each package contained two kilograms of both sugar and flour, two liters of oil, one kilogram of salt, two packets of pasta and six cans, two of sliced meat, pate and sardines each. In the second riund, we purchased another hundred packages and one hundred bags of flour, weighing   25 kilograms each,” Mr. Ivanovic said.

He also said that the value of each package was about 1,350 dinars.

Also distributed were another 65 packages, which were the first donation of the Auto Moto Company "Ivanovic" (50) and the “Petkovic” paint store. 50 packages were donated by the "Golden Trace" Company, as well as 250 packages by the Sabac dairy or the “Lece” mine,” Mr. Ivanovic said.
