Belgrade – The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection issued the Rules on incentives for investments in physical assets of farms for the purchase of new machinery and equipment and high-quality breeding animals for improving primary agricultural production.

These Rules stipulate in detail the types of incentives to support programs that relate to improving competitiveness through incentives for investment in physical assets of farms for the purchase of new machinery and equipment and high-quality breeding animals, the manner of exercising the right to incentives, as well as the application forms and maximum amounts of incentives per beneficiary.

Primary production of crop plants includes the production of: cereals, industrial plants, aromatic plants and herbs, vegetables, fruit, grapes and flowers.

The incentives are available for: construction of greenhouses, multi-year and multi-layer foils for covering greenhouses, foils for providing shade and preventing heat loss, nets for providing shade to the facility, the equipment for ventilation, cooling and heating, irrigation systems with the possibility of fertilization and hydration by means of micro spraying, the equipment for testing the parameters of the protected location, the instruments for measuring the level of carbon dioxide in the closed space, the instruments for measuring the temperature and humidity of land, the substrate and the air, the instruments for measuring the electrical conductivity of the water and nutrient solution, the instruments for measuring the acidity of soil and substrates.
