Bujanovac – Mladen Sarcevic, the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, said that support would be provided to the Subotica Faculty of Economics’ Department in Bujanovac, where classes are held in both Serbian and Albanian.  

Following a tour of the institution, Minister Sarcevic pointed out that the faculty in Bujanovac, as well as all other faculties in Serbia, could count on being supported by the Ministry of Education.

Minister Sarcevic talked with Aleksandar Grubor, the Dean, who stressed that the provision and maintenance of a high quality of teaching at that institution of higher learning was one of the priorities. The teaching at the Bujanovac faculty is conducted in two languages, so that students with Serbian and Roma ethnic backgrounds attend classes in Serbian, while students from the Albanian community receive education in the Albanian language.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, 400 students attend classes at the faculty, while 30 of them have, so far, obtained diplomas from the faculty.

Prior to making a tour of the faculty, Minister Sarcevic met with Saip Kamberi, the Mayor of Bujanovac.
