Medvedja – Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja , and Kalin Kamenov, a representative of the town of Vrac in Bulgaria, signed yesterday in Medvedja the protocol on cross-border cooperation or on the joint application for IPA funds.
Medvedja – Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja , and Kalin Kamenov, a representative of the town of Vrac in Bulgaria, signed yesterday in Medvedja the protocol on cross-border cooperation or on the joint application for IPA funds.
Mr. Kamenov is paying a return visit to the municipality of Medvedja in order to establish cooperation and implementation of environmental protection projects from the IPA program.
The protocol was signed in the office of the Mayor of Medvedja, and then the visitors from Bulgaria, together with their hosts, visited Sijarinska Spa. Cooperation between the two municipalities in the areas of culture and sports was discussed and agreed during the working breakfast.
The municipality of Vrac will be the leading project partner, while the municipality of Medvedja will be the project copartner.
Slightly more than 12 million euros of IPA funds were allocated for financing projects in the second call for applications. The deadline for the electronic submission of proposals is April 23, 2018.
