Medvedja – Funds intended for encouraging agriculture and rural development of the municipality of Medvedja were distributed at the municipal assembly hall.
Pursuant to the 2017 budget, funds in the amount of 10 million dinars were earmarked for agriculture. When it comes to the measure of investing in physical assets on the farms, the invested funds are returned for the purchase of planting material, livestock, machinery and irrigation equipment, totaling 9,250,000 dinars, while when it comes to the measure of artificial insemination, for which the requests are still received, funds amounting to 750,000 dinars were put aside.
Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, and Goran Ivanovic, the Deputy Mayor, handed out the contracts to 138 beneficiaries or farm owners in the municipality of Medvedja. The total funds paid on the basis of the contracts are 4,248,875 dinars.
Contracts were awarded as part of the measures for investing in physical assets under the program for encouraging agricultural policy and rural development of the municipality of Medvedja, in accordance with the 2017 budget.
