Bujanovac, Slovenia –  Masa Jovic, a native of Bujanovac, finished third at the Roller Skating Open Championships in Vuzenica, Slovenia, thus completing the success of her "Besna kobila" Ski Club at this competition.

In the competition of 70 competitors, members of the Ski Club "Besna kobila" from Vranje won 11 medals and 4 cups at the Open Slalom Championship in roller skating in Vuzenica. In addition to individual awards, the team from Vranje was also the most successful one when it comes  to the competition of collectives.

The Vranje club was represented by 18 competitors, and in addition to the skaters from Serbia, the skaters from Slovenia, Italy, Germany and Poland also participated.

Cups of "Countess of Pohorje" in the combination of cross-country skiing and slalom on roller skates, will be, until next year, held by Dunja Arsic, Petra Ljubisavljevic, Stefana Stojanovic and Emilija Arsic.

Gold medals were brought to Vranje by Dunja Arsić, Petra Ljubisavljević, Stefana Stojanović, Emilija Arsić and Mia Dedinac.

Vice Champions of the Slovenian Open Championship are Vera Ilic, Luka Mitrovic, Anastasija Stojanovic and Kaja Sretic. Third places went to Dunja Stojiljkovic and Masa Jovic.

Thanks to the placements of other competitors from 4th to 7th place, the Ski Club "Besna kobila" won the title of the most successful club at the Slovenian Open Championship.

“In addition to the competitive character, we also used this championship to visit the natural beauties and sights of Koruska and to visit the Mariborsko Pohorje and Kope ski resorts, where we got the conditions for training as if we were a local club, " representatives of the Ski Club “Besna kobila” said.

The best roller skater Mia Dedinac will compete at the European Championships and World Cup Races in the Spanish city of Vilablino from August 15 to 19.
