Yesterday, the Red Cross of Bujanovac began distributing humanitarian packages to around one thousand most threatened members of the communities in this municipality.

“Yesterday, the Red Cross commenced distributing in Bujanovac one thousand humanitarian packages to the neediest residents of the municipality,” said Bratislav Lazarevic, Secretary of the Red Cross of Bujanovac.

Yesterday, the Red Cross of Bujanovac began distributing humanitarian packages to around one thousand most threatened members of the communities in this municipality.

“Yesterday, the Red Cross commenced distributing in Bujanovac one thousand humanitarian packages to the neediest residents of the municipality,” said Bratislav Lazarevic, Secretary of the Red Cross of Bujanovac.

He explained that the points at issue were packages containing food and items for maintaining sanitation and hygiene, which were provided as part of the TVB92’s activity “Food for Everyone” and through the Serbian government and the AWO relief organization.

The activity of distributing humanitarian packages is going to last until April 12, 2010, and it will include all rural areas inhabited by Serbs, Albanians and Roma.
