Bujanovac – "Save the Children" is the slogan of the 8th International Mini Basketball Festival, which will be organized by the youth basketball club PLAY 017 in Bujanovac on April 21 and 22. 

Nenad Stajic, the head and coach of PLAY 017 from Bujanovac, said that 14 teams, with around 500 participants, had, until then, signed up for taking part in the largest sports event in the municipality of Bujanovac.  

“Among them are basketball academies "Bremen Sued" from Germany, FMP, Phoenix and MVP from Skopje and Kumanovo in Macedonia, followed by the teams from Vranje, Grdelica, Lazarevac, Kragujevac, Leskovac, "Elita" from Bujanovac and, of course, we, as the host and organizer, "said Mr. Stajic, noting that the aim of the event was to make sports events more popular.  

So all participants in the event, the boys and girls born in 2005 and 2006, regardless of the results achieved, will be the winners.

Thanks to the financial support of the US Embassy in the Republic of Serbia, the organizer of the 8th International Mini Basketball Festival will give letters of thanks, medals and cups to all participants in the event.  

The matches will be played on the sports ground of the “Mladost” sports center and on that of the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school in Bujanovac.
