Bujanovac – The Development and Investment Department, with the help of the “Komunalac” team, uses empty streets during the curfew to maintain cleanliness and wash streets and surfaces in the city.
As announced by Rahim Salihi, the Head of that municipal service, the central city square, Kosovska Street from the entrance to Veliki Trnovac to the center, as well as Karadjordja Petrovića Street, from the corner at the Saint Sava School to the roundabout, were being washed once again. .
“In addition, we cleaned and washed the small market behind the Post Office, "says Mr. Salihi, and also announced the washing of other city streets.
Mr. Salihi has also launched a campaign to remove illegal dumps, and over the past few days, heaps of garbage were cleaned at the Green Market and a several-kilometer stretch on the road from Veliki Trnovac to Breznica.
However, this will have no significance unless the citizens, who by the nature of things expect public services to work for their benefit, do something for the local community, our common city and, ultimately, for themselves.
For the beginning, it is enough, for example, not to throw trash and pieces of furniture next to the containers, ash from the stove onto the pavements or to have everyone plant a tree in front of their house, briefly not to pollute and dirty the city that everyone, judging by their words, love so much.
