Vranje – The delay in loan repayment due to the coronavirus epidemic expired yesterday, while the banks will deliver a new repayment plan to debtors either by mail or e-mail.

Clients of the banks that have accepted the second moratorium in the repayment of monthly installments, offered at the end of July, will choose a further method of repayment and will have seven days to decide on the issue. The first option is to accept the repayment plan offered by the bank, in which the repayment period is extended by the duration of the moratorium, while the interest from the moratorium is distributed to the remaining loan repayment time. The second option is to pay the interest on arrears all at once and continue the repayment according to the previous plan, while the third option is to pay only the interest, and to extend the loan repayment period by the number of installments for which the moratorium was valid.

The second moratorium on loan repayment was accepted by 82% of debtor citizens and 69% of companies, while the total value of suspended liabilities amounts to almost one billion euros.
