Medvedja – Letters of thanks were awarded, at the office of the Mayor of Medvedja, to military commanders of the Center of the Ministry of Defense, Major Drgan Milic, Head of the Center of the Ministry of Defense in Leskovac, and to Colonel Nenad Markovic, Head of the Regional Center of the Ministry of Defense in Nis.

Mayor Arsic presented letters of thanks to the above-mentioned members of the Army and thanked them for their good cooperation with the municipality of Medvedja in emergency situations.

“The assistance that the Army provides to our citizens is much greater for us in the situations when we are not able to help the residents when they need help the most. It is our duty and responsibility to foster this cooperation and further improve it, "Mayor Arsic said.

The Association of Organizations of Reserve Army Officers of the municipality of Medvedja granted a letter of thanks to the municipality of Medvedja for successful cooperation with and contribution to the operation of the association, which was received by the Mayor. Major Milic praised the association as one of the few associations whose commanders were very well-organized and who were examples to all other municipalities of the great efforts made and cooperation offered to members of the Center of the Ministry of Defense in Leskovac and the Ministry of Defense’s Regional Center in Nis.
