Bujanovac, Кlenike – The students and employees of the “Bora Stankovic” elementary school in the village of Klenike, which is situated in the municipality of Bujanovac, celebrated the School Day. 

Slađan Cvetanović, Director of the said educational institution, said that the ceremony began with the students’ performance that was held in the school amphitheater.  

“The festive event was attended by representatives of the local self-government, an MP in the Serbian Parliament, Directors of the neighboring schools in the municipalities of Bujanovac and Trgovište, Director of the "Our Joy" pre-school institution in Bujanovac, representatives of the “Filipović Academy" from Jagodina, former employees of the school, who are now retired, parents and students. Upon completion of the event, a gala lunch was served to all the guests and school employees in the school kitchen,” Mr. Cvetanovic said. 

This school year, the "Bora Stankovic" elementary school is attended by 204 students, who have been divided into 19 classes, of which eight are regional classes located in the villages of Klinovac, Trejak, Kustica, Spančevac, Sejace and Brnjare.
