Bujanovac  – Students of the first and second grade who stay at school for the after-school activity program at the "Branko Radičević" primary school, together with their teachers Suzana Stankovic and Violeta Stosic, came up with the original activity that they undertook at the Bujanovac health center on Friday. 

Under the motto "Replace Your Cigarette with Fruit", they visited the health center waiting rooms and demanded from patients to throw their cigarettes into a special bin, so that they could get some fruit instead. 

„The students, along with us, teachers, and school director Mirjana Nesic, were giving an apple for each cigarette. That is how we celebrated November 16, which we declared to be a day of non-smokers, "said Violeta, the teacher.

Naturally, they threw away the collected cigarettes, while after the completion of the activity, they talked with the health center staff about the harmful effects of cigarettes:  

"We were received by Dragana Zaov, a psychologist, Verica Jankovic, the chief nurse, and Emina Ibraimi, the head nurse of the children's medical center, who held a lecture to our students who stay at school for the after-school activity program,“ the teacher said.
