As reported by the MIA news agency, the information on the introduction of joint control at the Tabanovce-Presevo and Pelince- Prohor Pčinjski border crossings was adopted by the ministers at the session of the government held on February 27.

The border control with One Stop Shop includes facilitating free trade in goods and an improvement in joint risk management.

According to the Macedonian news agency, joint control is one of the goals of a multi-year action plan for creating a regional economic area of the Western Balkans, which was adopted at the summit in Trieste in July 2017.
