Deutsche Welle is looking for new participants in the Balkan Booster project.  Interested young journalists or students of journalism can submit their applications by March 13, 2020.

Do you want to know who people in the neighboring countries are and how they live? What are their stories? Are you interested in the "Identity" theme and do you want to learn more about different identities in the Balkans, including those that are endangered, rare or misunderstood?   If all the answers are "Yes" and you also like to record videos with your mobile phone and actively use social networks, then you are in the right place!

Deutsche Welle is seeking participants for the Balkan Booster project, which will run from May to December 2020.

The candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. He/she resides in one of the following countries: Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania

2. He/she is between 19 and 25 years old

3.  He/she studies journalism and/or has work experience in journalism

4.  He/she is ready to work as a member of the team, travel and report from small and remote places 

5. He/she has the time to participate in a three-day training on video journalism in May 2020

6. He/she is motivated to do research and work on the stories about "Identity"  

7. He/she actively uses social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)

8. He/she actively uses English

9. He/she knows how to record and edit a video on his/her mobile phone? That is an advantage!

10. He/she is motivated to learn more about other countries, identities and cultures in the Balkans
