Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja – The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management – the Directorate for Agrarian Payments adopted the Rulebook by which the requirements for receiving incentives worth up to three million dinars for the development of rural tourism and old artistic crafts were established.

The incentives will be awarded through the Directorate for Agrarian Payments of the Ministry of Agriculture, on the basis of an annual competition, while rural areas in Serbia are all populated areas with a population less than 150 inhabitants per square kilometer, it is stated in the Rulebook on Incentives for the Promotion of Rural Economic Activities through Support to Non-Agricultural Activities.

Investments in the development of rural tourism include the construction, upgrading, adaptation, investment and ongoing maintenance of facilities, as well as the procurement of equipment, with a view to providing catering services in authentic catering establishments in rural tourist households.

In the sector of old and artistic crafts, investments in the procurement of equipment and tools for crafts are said to be acceptable.

Individuals – the owners of registered commercial family farms, as well as entrepreneurs, companies and agricultural cooperatives have the right to incentives.

The maximum amount of incentives per beneficiary for investments in the rural tourism sector is 3,000,000 dinars.

The maximum amount of incentives per beneficiary for investments in the sector of old and artistic crafts or domestic crafts is 500,000 dinars.

The maximum amount of incentives per beneficiary for investments in both sectors is 3,000,000 dinars.
