Bujanovac – “Progress has been made in the filed of religious freedoms in Serbia, but the state should provide equal treatment for all".
This is the conclusion of the round table of the Human Rights Committee that is implemented as part of the project "Monitoring and Promotion of the Rights of the Albanian National Minority in South Serbia", which was financially supported by the German Embassy in Belgrade.
This was the third roundtable held on the premises of the OSCE office in Bujanovac, the theme of which was "Freedom of Expression as Part of the Fundamental Rights Enshrined in the Action Plan for the Implementation of Chapter 23 of the EU Accession Agreement".
The panelists were Goran Arsic and Nehmedin Ademi, while the participants were representatives of other religious communities-dervishes and the Christian religious communities, as well as representatives from Leskovac.
