Medvedja – The Municipality of Medvedja, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation Center "Geyser" from Sijarinska Spa, applied for a competition of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications with the “Health Tracks“  project for the development of tourism.

The funds for starting the project were approved by the Ministry in the amount of 6 million dinars, while the local self-government of the municipality of Medvedja  participated in the project with the amount of 600,000 dinars.

The Mayor of Medvedja, Nebojsa Arsic, signed a contract with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Miodrag Knezevic, and stressed that works on the building of the 1100 m2 track would begin in the spring.

The health track will be overlooking the Geyser, while the municipality of Medvedja signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Rehabilitation Center in Sijarinska Spa,  whereby the health trail was put at the disposal of the Rehabilitation Center.
