Nis – A team of doctors from Nis Clinical Center sucessfully replanted a hand of a patient from Presevo. The patient’s hand was severed off while he was working on a sheet-cutting press.
Nis – A team of doctors from Nis Clinical Center sucessfully replanted a hand of a patient from Presevo. The patient’s hand was severed off while he was working on a sheet-cutting press. Esref Demiri, the patient from Presevo, who is 30 years old, was admitted as an urgent case to Nis Clinical Center from Vranje’s hospital on Sunday afternoon.
„After having been severed off, the patient’s hand was kept in a cold storage, so that we could, thereupon, succefully treat his serious injury“, the doctors said.
The doctors’ team included Jadranka Paravina, a plastic surgeon, Sasa Zivic, a vascular surgeon, Sasa Milenkovic and Dragan Stanojevic, ortopedists, and Branka Pesic, an anaesthesiologist.
