Medvedja – This year, the traditional "Golden Pot of the Geyser" event will be held in Sijarinska Spa on August 12. In addition to the competition in cooking the best fish soup, other competitions, too, are expected, as well as the entertainment program and lunch for the participants in the competition.

According to the agenda of the Tourist Organization of Medvedja, a fishing contest for members of the Organization of Sport Fishermen "Upper Jablanica" will be organized at 8 am.

The signing up of those who will compete in cooking fish soup will take place from 11.30 am, while each team will be able to have only two members. The competition, which runs from 12 am to 2 pm, will be held on the quay in front of the "Geyser" Hotel.   

The period from 2 pm to 3 pm is reserved for cultural and artistic program, followed by the announcement about the best fish soup master. 

A gala lunch for the participants in the event and the tasting of fish soup are envisaged for the period between 3 pm and 6 pm.

The competitors and teams may sign up for the event until Thursday, August 9, at the latest, by dialing 064/3979255 or 064/4391185.

The event is organized by the fishermen from the Organization of Sport Fishermen "Upper Jablanica" from Medvedja, in cooperation with the Tourist Organization and the Special Rehabilitation Hospital Sijarinska Spa "Geyser", under the auspices of the municipality of Medvedja. The Radio Medvedja is media sponsor of the event.
