Bujanovac – Monday, the last day of the longest curfew, was used to thoroughly wash the main street and pavements from the Health Center to the roundabout, remove the trash and clean the manholes.
"We worked all day, from morning till late at night," said Rahim Salihi, the Head of the Development and Investment Department, who worked together with “Komunalac” employees.
Mr. Salihi announces that other streets in the city will also be washed and cleaned in the next few days.
He calls on citizens to be responsible and not to dump waste in inappropriate spots, which is for everyone’s benefit.
Mr. Salihi said that he was extremely grateful to “Komunalac” employees:
"We shall continue tidying up the city until it becomes a model city and municipality,” Mr. Salihi says.
