Medvedja – As part of the project "We are Working for a Better Future of Children," twenty young people aged from 18 to 35 from the area of the municipality of Vlasotince signed contracts on obtaining grants for starting or improving their own businesses.
Individual amounts range from 250,000 to 400,000 dinars, while it is a regional project in which, in addition to Vlasotince, Leskovac, Lebane and Medvedja participate as well. The funds for the project are provided by the Office of Minister Slavica Djukic Dejanovic which is responsible for demography and population policy.
“These funds should help you to improve the quality of your life and to provide conditions for starting or expanding your families. The fact is that the number of babies born in Vlasotince and the environment increased in recent years, but the fact is also that we have to work a lot more on having more of us,” said Zoran Todorovic, the Mayor of Vlasotince.
