Prokuplje – Following the decision of the committee for urgently intensifying the campaign of allocating sports equipment to the clubs across Serbia, and after a recent visit to Surcin and Lucani, when all regional clubs received large amounts of sports equipment and football balls, the FAS continued its campaign in Prokuplje, when all clubs from the municipal football associations in Blace, Prokuplje, Kursumlija, Zitorađa, Lebane and Merosina received a valuable contingent of sports equipment.
Prokuplje – Following the decision of the committee for urgently intensifying the campaign of allocating sports equipment to the clubs across Serbia, and after a recent visit to Surcin and Lucani, when all regional clubs received large amounts of sports equipment and football balls, the FAS continued its campaign in Prokuplje, when all clubs from the municipal football associations in Blace, Prokuplje, Kursumlija, Zitorađa, Lebane and Merosina received a valuable contingent of sports equipment. The sports equipment was, on behalf of the Regional Football Association (RFA) of Lebane, received by football clubs Radan, Jedinstvo (Bosnjace) Jablanica (Medvedja) and Radnicki (Perate), while there are as many as 15 clubs in the RFA of Merosina that got the valuable equipment.
The ceremony of allocating sports equipment in Prokuplje was attended the FAS President Slavisa Kokeza, the Deputy Secretary General of the FSA Jovan Surbatovic, the FSA Coordinator of the work with youth teams Mitar Mrkela and by the legendary national team goalkeeper Ivica Kralj.
"We continued undertaking our activities and, now, six municipal associations received valuable equipment, which is very important for this part of Serbia. The Football Association will, naturally, continue undertaking these activities and developing the infrastructure, which is the basis for the development of football in Serbia, and is certainly one of the priorities in our work, "said Slavisa Kokeza, the President of the FAS.
The President of the Football Association of the Eastern Region of Serbia Novica Toncev said that the eastern region might be the poorest in Serbia and that that act meant a lot to the clubs.
“I wish we could improve football in our beautiful Serbia by joining our forces, and that is certainly one way of doing it, '' said Novica Tonvev.
