Medvedja – By delivering 100 more contracts, this year’s distribution of incentive funds to farmers in the municipality of Medvedja was completed, for which 15 million dinars had been allocated, 5 million more than last year, the Office of the President of the local self-government stated.

Incentive funds were allocated for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment. The contracts were signed in the assembly hall of the Municipality of Medvedja, while the Mayor of Medvedja, Nebojša Arsić, said that the program defined priority areas of activity and territorial specificities and needs. 

"We have taken care of the proper allocation of funds, and we have succeeded quite a bit, which can be seen from the number of received applications for incentives. Disbursement of funds is made in the order of submission of the requests, so that the third, last tranche of payment for the measure of investments in physical assets of farms, in the amount of RSD 3,334,150, is ongoing,  or  for 100 out of a total of 244 household beneficiaries who had submitted the requests for incentives. We will do our best to effect payments and sign the contracts in the shortest possible period next year and I hope in a greater amount of incentives per beneficiary, "said Mayor Arsic.

At the same time, Mayor Arsic urged all citizens to participate in the creation of the budget for 2020, by which the needs of all the residents of the municipality of Medvedja would be considered  more realistically.
