Bujanovac – Yesterday, the European Day of Languages was appropriately marked at the library of the “Saint Sava” secondary vocational school in Bujanovac.  That day has been marked every September 26 since 2001.

For the purpose of increasing multilingualism and intercultural understanding, promoting wealth and cultural diversity of the European continent, Bujanovac secondary school students recited poetry in Serbian, English, French, Russian, Spanish and Italian. The said activity was organized by the school library.

“Our students feel that learning foreign languages opens the door to the world, and also learn to appreciate and recognize the value of different cultures," said librarian Mirjana Nikolic.

The library of the “Sint Sava” secondary school has a collection of around 15,000 books, while it organizes a series of educational activities during the school year.
