Presevo – On the occasion of Europe Day, the local self-government of Presevo, which is led by the Alternative for Change Party, organized a rally at the village of Miratovac, which is situated on the Serbian-Macedonian border, in order to draw the attention of the Republican authorities to the long-time request of the residents of Miratovac to open a border crossing there.
As reported by the local media in Albanian, the rally, which should be attended by Sciprim Arifi, the Mayor of Presevo, and Sami Salihu, the President of the Municipal Assembly of Presevo, will be held under the slogan "We Want Freedom of Movement, We Want the Opening of the Border Crossing."
The Alternative for Change asked, through social networks, the citizens of the municipality of Presevo to "come to the rally en masse."
It was also stated in the call that the municipal authorities expected that the municipality of Lipkovo, too, would ask the Government of Macedonia for the opening of the Miratovac-Lojane border crossing.
