EU PROGRESS program promotes and advocates for women's entrepreneurship and self-employment, and therefore calls for unemployed women, who have been registered in the records of the National Employment Office for at least three consecutive months, to submit their proposals for funding the starting of legally registered businesses owned by women or run by women up to 4, 000 EUR per grant for the purchase of the machinery, equipment and durables. There will be about 10 supported businesses. 

The applicant must have a permanent residence in one of the twenty-five municipalities participating in the EU PROGRESS program, which include the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, too.

The EU PROGRESS planned a total of 40,000 EUR for the said call for project proposals. The minimum grant amount is 1, 500 EUR, while the maximum one is 4,000 EUR.

The activities from the proposed project must be completed by March 14, 2014. 

The project proposal, which must be in Serbian, must include an application form, a detailed proposal of the project budget on a spreadsheet, a detailed narrative of the budget estimates for the equipment/durable goods specified in the project proposal, along with detailed specifications, as well as the CV of the applicant.

   All proposals must be submitted to the EU PROGRESS's offices in Vranje, Novi Pazar and  Prokuplje by registered mail or in person not later than 5 pm on Monday, October 28, 2013.
