Vranje – The “Tempus” Foundation " organized, yesterday, the "Erasmus Plus" Info Day at the High School of Applied Vocational Studies in Vranje.
On that occasion, Marija Filipovic Ozegovic, the Director of the “Tempus” Foundation, addressed the attendees of the event.
Presented at the Info Day were new possibilities for institutions of higher education, as well as the general, vocational, adult and youth education.
The interested parties received the information on the ways in which institutions and organizations involved in formal and non-formal education could apply for funds from the "Erasmus Plus" program.
"Erasmus Plus" is a program of the European Union for cooperation in the field of education, through which mobility projects, as well as those related to improvement of education and youth work, are funded.
By the just issued call for projects, primary and secondary school education will be supported for the first time. Also, larger funds will be earmarked for the mobility of young people.
As part of this competition period, over 20 million euros were allocated for higher education institutions in the Western Balkans, while around one million euros were earmarked for the general, vocational and adult education.
