Мedvedja –  Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, reached a decision on lifting the emergency situation in the municipality

It was said in the decision that the emergency situation was lifted "because of the reduced danger," which was introduced due to high snow drifts and threats to people, property and the environment.

“The Center for Emergency Situations of the municipality of Medvedja constantly monitors all developments in the field, as well as all the parts of the municipality that are under snow, "it was stated in the decision.  

The Center for Emergency Situations shall appeal to people that if there is a sudden melting of snow, they should treat the environment appropriately and in accordance with the law, and not throw garbage and other wastes into waterways and river basins, which is a preventive action to reduce the risk of flooding, it was stated in the decision on lifting the emergency situation in the municipality of Medvedja.
