Vranje – Based on a decision of the selection commission composed of representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia and the Council of Europe, elementary school Svetozar Markovic in Vranje was selected to participate in the EU and Council of Europe’s project "Quality Education for All".  

The said Vranje school will be the only one from the territory of the Leskovac School Administration to participate in the above-mentioned project, which is, as the school administration believes "another proof that the elementary school Svetozar Markovic is seriously dealing with improving the quality of education for all, while respecting the rights of the child".

The selected schools will promote the concept of democratic culture at school through curricular and extracurricular content, staff training, establishing practices and activities which, by providing  new knowledge, skills and understanding, develop the students' attitudes and behaviors, so that they could defend their democratic rights and assume responsibility.
