For the eighth time in a row, the auditing and consulting firm EY (Ernst & Young) issued a call for proposals for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year ™ program, which will run until November 20, 2019.

The award ceremony will be held in February 2020, and this time the winner of the national competition in Serbia, together with winners from countries around the world, will compete for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year ™ Award and attend a June 2020 award ceremony in Monte Carlo.

As in the previous year, the program is supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia, the Radio and Television of Serbia, the Business & Finance magazine and the e-Kapija business portal.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award is organized in over 150 cities and nearly 60 countries worldwide. It has existed for over 30 years and was first established in Serbia in 2012. In the past years, 180 companies participated in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year ™ program in the Republic of Serbia, which employed 18,000 people last year and generated the revenues of up to RSD 156 billion.

The winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 program will be decided by an independent jury, and their decision will be based on key success factors, such as entrepreneurial spirit, financial indicators, strategic orientation, presence in the regional or international market, innovation and personal integrity. 

By participating in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program, the best entrepreneurs in Serbia have the opportunity to enlarge a network of acquaintances and build relationships with both local and global entrepreneurship leaders.
