“EDUCATION TO EMPLOYMENT” (E2E) PROJECT

The Government of the Republic of Serbia's Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Team has prepared a video presenting innovative models developed under the Education to Employment Program (E2E) aimed at increasing employment and employability of young people in Serbia. The video presents the ways in which innovative approaches, the individualization of measures tailored to the needs of young people and the adjustment of services to each person's knowledge, skills and capacities can meet the challenge of youth employment.

As part of the program, partner organizations from Belgrade (The Forum of Youth with Disabilities), Uzice (The Association of Uzice Center for Human Rights and Democracy), Novi Sad (The Center for Youth Work), Sombor (The Sombor Educational Center), Nis (The Association for Local Development Kamenica) and Leskovac (The European Movement in Serbia – Leskovac) have developed innovative models that, prior to addressing the problem of youth unemployment, prove to be “the solutions that work”.

The BeFem organization, in cooperation with the Team, developed the video.

The “Education to Employment” (E2E)  program is implemented with the support of the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the Government of the Republic of Serbia's Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Team and NIRAS-IP Consult. The aim of the E2E program is to improve the prospects of young people on the labor market in Serbia through the improvement of youth employment policies and practices, the relevant legal framework and the development of skills and knowledge that employers seek.
