The association "Ecogenesis", in cooperation with the association "Child – Protector of the Planet", is organizing EcoCon for the first time this year. EcoCon is a multidisciplinary conference that gives young people the opportunity to share their work, results and creativity with others. The conference entitled "EcoCon – All Faces of Climate Change", which will be held in early November, aims to present climate change from various angles, both through scientific work and through art.

Climate change is a topic that should interest everyone, regardless of the activity he/she is engaged in or the interests he/she nurtures. Accordingly, EcoCon provides an opportunity for young people to get involved in the process of raising awareness of the impact of man on the acceleration of climate change by participating in one of four competitions:

The academic competition or the competition for professional papers, is intended for all students (enrolled in faculties and two-year post-secondary schools in the Republic of Serbia), as well as for those who graduated after September 1, 2019. We want to find out whether and how climate change affects different areas of training and research, but also whether activities in these areas affect climate change itself. Surprise us by discovering an area that has a significant impact on climate change or suffers from its effects.

The literary competition is intended for secondary school students, who are invited to present, through an essay, how they see climate change. Over the past year, young people showed that climate change was a topic that was high on the list of priorities and that we could really learn a lot if we decided to hear what they have to say to us.

The art and photo competitions are open to all lovers of painting and photography. Show us what climate change looks like when you paint it, or if the camera is your tool, show us what it looks like through your lens.

You may apply for the above competitions in the period from September 1 to 30, 2020.
