Belgrade – The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure stated that the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) would financially support the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of the Nis railway bypass route and the modernization of the Nis-Presevo – Serbian-Macedonian border railway route with five and a half million euros grant.
Belgrade – The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure stated that the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) would financially support the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of the Nis railway bypass route and the modernization of the Nis-Presevo – Serbian-Macedonian border railway route with five and a half million euros grant.
Of the total amount, two million euros were approved for preparing the project for the construction permit for the Nis single-track railway bypass route, as part of the modernization of Corridor 10 from Nis to Dmitrovgrad.
The remaining three and a half million euros were earmarked for the preliminary design with the feasibility study and the study of the environmental impact assessment of the modernization of the railway on Corridor 10 on the Nis- Presevo- Serbian-Macedonian border section, it was said in the statement.
