Bujanovac – At the 25th International Festival of Ethnographic TV Films, which was held in Kucevo, the "Drelja Ogorelja" documentary by Sladjan Stojanovic – Frankie, which was produced by the Vranje Office of the Radio and Television of Serbia, received a special award.
The recognition was given for "direct and comprehensive testimony of the lesser known elements of the Easter traditions in Bujanovac."
The decision was made by the jury that included the head of the jury Radoslav Zelenovic, a filmmaker, and members of the jury Vladimir Bocev, an ethnologist, and Slobodan Naumovic, PhD, a filmmaker and an ethnologist.
59 domestic and foreign films were shown at the festival.
