The Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) launched a campaign "Create Life", which includes eight programs aimed at supporting micro, small, medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs.

At the official presentation of the program of support, which was held on the premises of DAS, it was said that the following grants through co-financing will be awarded in 2017: up to 70% for beginners, up to 50% for the existing businesses and up to 60% for organizations and institutions.

“435 million dinars were earmarked for the first six programs intended for beginners in business, improvement in competitiveness, promotion of economic development, innovation, appearance on foreign markets and export promotion.  In addition, a mentoring program will be available, for which around 20 million dinars have been put aside, as well as a program to support entrepreneurs who create new jobs, which is implemented under the Decree on Attracting Investments of the Serbian government, "said Zeljko Sertic, the acting Director of DAS.  

Mr. Sertic also said that a network of 16 regional development agencies would assist with implementing the program across Serbia, since they would be available to entrepreneurs for more information. 

Milun Trivunac, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, said that the announcement of the program was part of a global plan of developing vertical industrial policy. He added that the state had provided funding for numerous programs not only from the budget, but also from international financial institutions, such as the World Bank and German Development Bank KfW.

By the slogan "Create Life," DAS tells entrepreneurs that they are key decision makers in their life and that they can create the life that suits them by making timely decisions.
