Bujanovac – A specialized team of deminers found out seven unexploded hand grenades and mortar anti-personnel mines in a mine field in the vicinity of Bujanovac.  

Ali Aslani, the Head of the Team for Emergency Situations in Bujanovac, said that the unexploded ordnance left over from the 1999 NATO bombing campaign had been found and immediately destroyed at the site of Ravno Bucje, which is located in the northern part of the municipality of Bujanovac.

As part of the project of technical inspection in the field, which is implemented by the Mine Action Center of the Republic of Serbia, the area of the village of Dobrosin will also be cleared of unexploded cluster bombs and land mines.  

There are no more mines in the municipality of Presevo ​, because the team of deminers had found and destroyed 87 cluster bombs and 18 other ordnances.
