Medveđa – The project "New Hope for Medvedja’," in which students of all primary schools and kindergartens in the municipality participated, was implemented in Medvedja. Dragoslav Gile Brankovic, an actor from Leskovac, held a workshop with a show for the children, while young actors joined him on the stage. The kids from kindergartens and schools, who were in the audience, enjoyed the interaction that the actor had achieved with them.   

The second workshop, the theme of which was "My Medvedja", was organized in the field of fine arts. More than 12 children from Bucmet, Rajkovac, Lece, Gazdare, Tulare, Medvedja, Macedonca, Retkocer, Tulare and Sijarinska Spa used various techiques to paint  in the area located in front of the Cultural Center and they enjoyed themselves. 

Apart from standard materials, such as sketcbooks, tempera paints, watercolors and colored pencils, easels, canvases and oil paints, too, were provided for the workshop. The pictures painted  during school workshops were exhibited in the lobby of the Cultural Center , while the best of them will be used to produce a brochure, which will be presented to the public, such as the  Ministry of Culture and Information, the media and cultural institutions and organizations dealing with children's creativity. The project envisages that the appropriate painting materials  be awarded to ten authors of the best paintings.
